Where should I start? Those guys are my love! Friendships are super important and I just love everything about them. I have always been a person who choose their friends very precisely. Don’t get me wrong – I am definitely not a very withdrawn person (more the opposite of that :P) but I feel like I have some kind of knowledge of human nature. When I invited some of my best friends over to a girls night I wanted to know what they thought of friendship and what it means being friends with someone. I recorded the girls while we talked and I will insert some of my favorite quotes here and there.
“Certain friendships are just forever. You know that you have a certain bond. There are some things we both know but we don’t have to say at all. We just know.”
What I love about every sort of relationship is that it only exists once. I mean every relationship you have is a very special thing. You have a story with all of those people. And those people they bring out different things in you. In this case, hopefully, positive things 😉
“I think it’s really important that you can rely on eachother.”
I sometimes feel like a lot of people underrate friendships. Like, the most important thing is to have a boyfriend or girlfriend or whatever. But aren’t your friends the love of your life – if you think about it? Don’t get me wrong, I am a true believer in love: always will, always have. But in many situations in our life it’s the friends that we can always count on. They support you no matter what.
“Don’t get me wrong, but I don’t want friends that are mad at every single word I say. Sometimes we insult eachother but it’s just for fun you know…”
True friendship is such a fragile, little thing that I appreciate so much. I am so glad to have so many lovely friends, that I can trust in and even if we share not always the same opinions – we support eachother. We’re there for eachother.
“I love how you’re suddenly friends with someone. I sometimes wonder when we became friends… like was there a certain moment or something? It kind of just happens without thinking about it too much. It’s less complicated than love.”
